Episode 62
Have you ever reached a point in your life where the old way no longer fits…
But the new way hasn’t fully revealed itself yet?
Where you can feel something wanting to be born through you…
A new way of living.
A new way of creating.
A new version of yourself.
And yet when you look around, there doesn’t seem to be a roadmap.
No clear role model.
No one showing you exactly how to get there.
If you’ve ever felt that way, this episode is for you.
Because one of the challenges of creating something truly new is that there is often no map.
And yet that may be exactly how we know we’re moving into something genuinely new.
So if you’re ready to join me, pull up a comfy chair, invite in your soul, and be open to receive exactly what you need to live, by and thrive as the embodied soul you are.
And before I dive in, I want to thank everyone who has been participating in the community conversations lately.
I recently asked what you would like us to explore together, and the responses have been beautiful.
There is something so powerful about bringing our questions, experiences, and insights into a shared space.
Not because anyone has all the answers, but because the questions themselves often reveal what many of us are moving through.
And today’s episode is a perfect example of that.
It was inspired by a question from Pilar, and as soon as I read it, I could feel how many people would relate to it because it speaks directly to a threshold so many of us are standing on right now.
Pilar asked:
After realizing who I really am, after realizing what beliefs have been running through my life, and understanding that I can build something new in my life… how do I go about doing that when there seems to be no role model or road for what I want to build anew?
And I got so excited about this question because it’s exactly where I’ve been walking.
It’s where so many of us are moving through right now—or will come to in the not-so-distant future.
We’re moving away from a fear-based environment.
And that’s fear in all of its different faces.
It’s basically the world that we’ve been born into—a world where we believe ourselves separate from the Source of our being.
That has created so many beliefs around lack, scarcity, worthiness, enoughness, and all of those things.
As we begin to tap into, or fully step into knowing with every fibre of our being—that we are something vaster, that we are divine beings of light having a human experience in a physical form, we realize that we are true creator beings.
And the challenge we face—and this is exactly what this question points to—is that humanity has historically created through experience.
We create based on the past.
We create based on the patterns we see.
What has been successful.
What has gained us love.
What has made us feel welcome.
What has made us successful.
All of that looks to the past. It looks to the history of what’s possible, what should be, what can be. And what that actually gets us is more of the same.
We end up perpetuating many of the things we’ve always had.
In many ways, the things we don’t actually want.
Fear gets perpetuated.
Lack gets perpetuated.
Worry gets perpetuated.
Scarcity gets perpetuated.
Not-enoughness gets perpetuated.
Because we’re still creating based on the past. Based on what was. Based on structures that were already created inside a fear-laden frequency.
⸻
So how do we navigate into the new?
This is something I’ve been consciously walking for quite some time.
And it is very much like being an explorer.
When an explorer sets out into unknown terrain, they take all the tools they have with them and begin observing, noticing, asking questions.
That is one of the foundational pieces.
Once you reach the stage where you understand that you are something more…
You understand that you’ve been living through limiting beliefs, patterns, structures, and expectations…
And you realize that you can change that…
You find yourself standing on a beautiful threshold. A beautiful precipice of the new.
And it is a gorgeous place to be, because everything is possible if we allow it to be.
⸻
The Guides are actually going to be speaking specifically about this theme at an upcoming summit.
It’s all around living on the edge. Navigating life from this position of the unknown.
Because my Guides have always said: “The challenge with the new is that it’s new.”
It hasn’t been done. There is no history.
And that’s exactly what allows us to build from a higher frequency.
When we do something different, we get different responses. Different actions. Different outcomes.
That’s how we align to a new experience of reality.
⸻
As humans, we want certainty.
We want clarity up front.
We want certainty before we take action. Before we build.
Which is why we want the roadmap. We want the role model.
But the beautiful thing is…
We don’t get a roadmap.
One person in the community commented that we’re all learning this together.
And that is absolutely true.
As we share what we’re experiencing…
What fears come up…
What stories come up…
We support each other so we don’t fall back into the old patterns.
The old fear structures.
⸻
And at the same time, I think there is another shift happening.
While community can absolutely support us, we’re also being invited into a deeper trust of ourselves.
The answers are moving less and less from external authority and more toward inner knowing.
Not because we stop learning from one another.
Not because we stop sharing.
But because we are learning how to hear ourselves.
Learning how to trust ourselves.
Learning how to trust the connection we have to our own soul, Higher Self, Divine Self—whatever language resonates for you.
Community can remind us.
Community can encourage us.
Community can help us normalize the experience of walking into the unknown.
But no one else can walk your exact path for you.
⸻
So part one is simply recognizing:
You are standing on a threshold.
You are standing on the edge of the new.
And affirming to yourself: I am safe.
It is okay not to have every next step laid out.
This is about trust.
And I want to acknowledge something else here.
Part of why this can feel uncomfortable isn't simply because we're facing uncertainty.
Sometimes we're also letting go.
We're letting go of old identities.
Old ways of creating.
Old ways of feeling safe.
Old ways of measuring success.
And sometimes there can even be a grief in that.
A grief for the version of ourselves that knew how the old world worked.
A grief for the roadmap.
A grief for the certainty.
A grief for having all the answers before taking the next step.
And if part of you misses those things, that's okay. Of course it does.
Those structures may not have been fully aligned with who you are becoming, but they were familiar. They got you where you are today.
There can be a tenderness in standing between what was and what is not yet fully here.
So if you find yourself in that space, be gentle with yourself. This isn't about forcing your way into the new. It's about learning to trust yourself there.
⸻
I’ve spoken in other Embodied Soul episodes about trust.
Because as we begin to trust ourselves—and in this case, by ourselves I mean the vaster aspect of ourselves, our Higher Self—we begin to access a higher vantage point.
We’re the boots on the ground.
We’re here in the physical.
But there is an aspect of us that has never forgotten.
That aspect is available to us.
And part of navigating this time is creating space to hear it.
Space.
Stillness.
Quiet.
For some that might be meditation.
For some it might be walks in nature.
For some it might be dreams.
There are many ways.
Test them.
Experiment.
Discover what works for you.
And don’t give up if it doesn’t happen immediately.
Because that’s another pitfall.
People try meditation for one day.
They ask:
“What would you share with me today?”
And when they don’t immediately get an answer in a way they recognize…
They stop.
And then they go back to what they’ve always done.
Which gets them more of what they’ve always had.
⸻
Connect daily if you can.
Ask:
“Divine Self, Soul, what would you most like to share with me today?”
“What is my next step?”
And listen.
Write it down. Even if it doesn’t make sense.
Because it just might later.
This is about learning how your guidance communicates.
Through your body.
Through your senses.
Through your intuition.
Through dreams.
Through visions.
Through knowing.
⸻
Follow What Is Calling You
When you don’t know the next step, become curious.
Ask:
* What would bring me joy?
* What would make time disappear?
* What am I fascinated by?
* What idea keeps pulling at me?
* What would I love to explore?
Then explore it.
That may be your first step.
⸻
And here’s a nuance about manifestation
We’ve often been taught to define the outcome first and then work backward.
And yes, that can work.
But when you’re creating something truly new, you often have a direction rather than a destination.
You don’t have the full picture.
Because if you already had the whole picture, you’re likely building from something that already exists.
Your soul wants to create something unique.
Something only you can bring through.
⸻
Here’s an Example from My Own Life
I’ve been living this very thing.
Over several weeks I received a series of phrases.
I thought I knew what they meant. How they fit together.
I became inspired.
I started creating these three different, yet very interconnected things.
And then suddenly the energy dropped.
I hit resistance.
I felt frustrated.
I wondered:
Did I misunderstand the guidance?
Did I get it wrong?
And that’s where many of us go.
But what I’ve discovered is that when the energy drops, something is often asking to be seen.
A belief.
A distortion.
An old structure.
Something that needs to be acknowledged before the new version can emerge.
Every time I’ve gone through one of these cycles, I eventually realize:
I was trying to build the new thing using an old structure. And that old structure can’t hold any more in the new frequency.
And my system simply would not allow it.
Could I have forced it?
Sure.
But not only would it have been exhausting, I know it wouldn’t have landed as I know this wants to. I’ve already learned that they hard way.
⸻
So the signs to watch for.
Pay attention when you notice:
* Frustration
* Exhaustion
* Repeated roadblocks
* Confusion
* Feeling like you’re banging your head against a wall
Sometimes these are not signs that you’re failing.
Sometimes they are signs that another layer is ready to be released.
⸻
Follow the Energy
One of the most important practices is noticing your energy.
Ask yourself:
Where do I feel expansive?
Where do I feel light?
Where do I feel alive?
Where do I feel contraction?
Where do I feel heaviness?
Follow the expansion.
Follow the aliveness.
Follow the ease.
⸻
One of the things I’ve been seeing over and over again is that we often want the next five steps before we’re willing to take the first one.
We want to know where it’s leading.
We want guarantees.
We want certainty.
But that’s not how creation works when we’re building something new.
The next step is revealed through movement.
Follow what brings the most life.
Follow what sparks curiosity.
Follow what creates expansion inside of you.
Ask yourself:
“What is my next immediate step?”
Then take it.
Not because it guarantees an outcome.
But because it is often not until we take that action that the next doorway reveals itself.
There isn’t one predetermined path.
There are choices.
Possibilities.
Experiences.
And every choice opens different doors.
The important thing is not choosing perfectly. The important thing is choosing from the highest energy or frequency available to you in the moment.
⸻
The Guides often show me an image.
Imagine standing in dense fog.
You can’t see the whole path.
You can only see the next stepping stone.
Maybe the next two.
That’s it.
And the invitation is learning to be okay with that.
Because many of us were taught to create through planning.
Five-year plans.
Ten-year plans.
Step one through one hundred.
But the new doesn’t work that way.
The new reveals itself one step at a time.
⸻
And if the next step is unclear, it doesn’t necessarily mean you are doing something wrong.
It may simply mean that the next stone has not yet emerged from the fog.
In those moments, rather than trying to force an answer, become curious about what is present.
What are you experiencing right now?
What is asking to be seen?
What belief, fear, pattern, expectation, or old story might be surfacing?
Because often what is appearing in the moment is not blocking your next step.
It is preparing you for it.
The very thing asking for your attention may be the thing clearing the runway for what comes next.
And once that’s been acknowledged, released, integrated, or simply seen…
The next stepping stone often appears naturally.
And if you’re still unsure, pause.
Go inward.
Ask:
“What is my next step?”
Then ask:
“Please show me in a way I will understand.”
And return to:
* What has energy?
* What feels alive?
* What feels expansive?
* What am I being drawn toward?
Notice what captures your attention.
Notice what keeps calling to you.
Notice what creates a sense of lightness, curiosity, or aliveness within you.
Then take one step. Just one step.
Because it is often not until we take that step that the next doorway reveals itself.
The next step is revealed through movement.
Not because there is one predetermined path.
But because each choice opens new possibilities.
Each choice reveals new information.
Each choice allows the path to unfold in a way that could not have been seen before.
Take one step.
And see what door opens.
Because it will open something.
⸻
So a few Final Thoughts
Sometimes your next step is action.
Sometimes your next step is stillness.
Sometimes your next step is rest.
Sometimes your next step is play.
And sometimes doing “nothing” is actually doing exactly what is needed.
We’ve been conditioned to believe that worth comes through productivity.
But we are being invited to remember something deeper.
We are connected to Source, and that connection becomes easier to hear in stillness. In nature.
In presence.
⸻
You are an explorer.
Embody that.
All great explorers stepped into territory that had no map.
The map was created as they walked.
A map only exists when someone has already walked the path.
And if there is no map, perhaps you’re not lost. Perhaps you’re early.
And every step you take creates part of the path for those who come after you.
⸻
And if something came alive for you during this conversation, I’d love to hear about it in the comments.
And like, subscribe, and share with someone you think this exploration may support. It really does support getting the messages out to those who need it.
I look forward to being with you again next week.
