Episode 54
You may be noticing right now that your system feels a little more full than usual.
Perhaps there is a sense of tiredness that doesn’t fully resolve itself with rest.
Or a feeling of being slightly overstimulated by too much input.
Or a mind that wants to settle… but can’t quite find the off-switch.
And underneath that, maybe there is simply a longing for things to feel a little quieter. A little simpler. A little more steady again.
If this is you—you are not alone in that.
And you are not doing anything wrong.
What you are feeling is something many people are moving through right now as the body and nervous system continue to adjust to a lot of internal and external change.
And in today’s Embodied Soul episode, we’re going to gently support your system in settling. Not by fixing anything. Not by analyzing anything.
But by coming back into the body…back into breath… and back into a deeper sense of internal stillness.
So you don’t need to do anything except listen. And if it feels right, you can follow along. You can be seated. You can lie down. Or you can be walking gently. Just choose whatever feels most supportive for your body right now.
And as we begin, if you wish, you can simply allow your awareness to come a little bit closer, your Soul a little bit closer, and open to receive exactly what is needed for you in this moment. Nothing more. Nothing less. Just what is supportive for you right now.
There’s a lot happening right now—on the planet, in the collective field, and in the subtle layers of our own internal systems. And whether or not you follow astrology closely, there is something important unfolding in the background of this week’s energetic field.
Many people are sensing that this is not a typical or subtle passage. It can carry a kind of intensity and acceleration that feels difficult to ignore in the body and nervous system. A sense that something is shifting quite quickly beneath the surface of everything familiar. Almost like a threshold moment where internal and external movement are happening at the same time. And you may have already been feeling this over the past week. And it is continuing to move through this week as well.
And I want to begin here by saying something very simple. Nothing is wrong with you. You are not alone in what you are feeling.
What you are experiencing—if you are feeling tired, sensitive, overstimulated, emotionally full, or a little scattered inside your attention—is not a sign that something is going wrong.
It’s more likely a sign that your system is processing more than your thinking and that your mental mind can keep track of. Because what is happening right now is not only happening in the mind. It’s happening in the body. In the nervous system. In the energy field. In the deeper rhythms of how you orient to life.
Many people are noticing a similar pattern right now:
A kind of fatigue that doesn’t resolve with sleep alone.
A sensitivity to too much input.
A desire for things to slow down.
A longing for quiet.
A longing for simplicity.
A longing for something that feels like “normal” again.
And I want to reflect here, that it makes sense to long for that. It makes sense to want things to feel familiar and steady. Because over the last months—and for many, even longer than that—there have been wave after wave of internal reset cycles. Moments of release. Moments of expansion. Moments of reorientation. Moments where something in the system has had to reorganize again. And again. And again.
And so if you are feeling a sense of “I’m tired of this now,” or “Can things just settle for a moment?”—there is nothing wrong with that. That’s a very human response.
And yet there is also something else here that we are learning together. Something subtle. Something powerful…
We are learning how to exist inside transition.
Not after it. Inside it.
We are learning how to let the nervous system soften while life is still moving.
How to stay present while something is still becoming. And that can feel unfamiliar. Because the mind often wants resolution before relaxation. But the body… the body has a different intelligence. And right now, the body is doing a lot of the heavy lifting. Even when you are not aware of it. Even when nothing “big” is happening externally. There is a deeper recalibration occurring in the background of your system. And there is nothing you need to do correctly here.
So if you notice things like:
Overthinking that comes and goes.
Attention that scatters more easily.
Emotional waves beneath the surface.
A sense of being slightly more open than usual.
Or moments where you just want to lie down and stop processing anything at all…
I want you to know:
You are not behind. You are not failing. And you are not doing this wrong. And you’re certainly not alone. This is not a problem to fix. This is a process to allow.
And the system does not respond well to force right now.
It responds to permission.
So one of the most important things we can do is be very gentle with ourselves.
Less judgment. Less comparison. Less pressure to be handling everything perfectly. And more honesty. More softness. More allowance.
And now, if you are willing, we are going to take a few moments together.
You can be seated. You can be lying down. Or you can be standing or walking slowly. But if possible, choose a way of being where your body feels supported enough to soften. And just begin to notice your breath.
Not changing it.
Just noticing it.
And now, gently allow your awareness to drop into the center of your body.
Not into the thinking mind, but into the felt sense of you. The quiet interior space. The place beneath interpretation.
And imagine, if it helps, that there is a point within you that does not rush.
The still point.
A center of gravity that is not emotional, not mental, but simply present.
Deep in the heart of you. And we are going to rest attention there together.
Just gently.
No effort.
No reaching.
Just allowing.
And notice what happens when you stop trying to hold everything together.
So as you rest there… deep in the heart of you… in the still point of you…
In this peaceful center of you.. begin to notice your body.
Your forehead softening.
Feel you eyes releasing.
Feel your jaws unclenching slightly.
You don’t have to force relaxation.
Just notice what softens when it is given permission.
Let the shoulders drop even a little.
Allow the chest not to hold anything extra right now.
And allow the weight of your body to be received by whatever is holding you right now. The chair. The floor. The bed. The earth beneath you.
There’s nothing you need to carry in this moment.
You are supported within the vastness of you. Held within the vastness of you.
And now, if it feels right for you… you can bring one hand to the heart, one hand to the belly. Not as a technique. But as a gesture of presence. And you might softly acknowledge:
I am here. I am safe in this moment. I can soften a little more.
Body, you are safe. You can soften just a little in this moment.
And now, gently, you may invite your deeper awareness—your soul, your higher self, your inner knowing—whatever language feels right for you…To come a little closer.
Not to fix anything. Not to change anything. But simply to be with you.
And notice what it’s like to not be alone inside yourself.
Just for this moment.
Just allowing.
And now, we begin to include the world again.
Not by leaving this stillness—but by letting it come with us.
Imagine the earth beneath you. Holding you completely. No effort required.
Imagine the air around you. Holding space for you.
And imagine life itself—however you understand that—meeting you exactly where you are. Not asking you to be different. Just meeting you here.
And if there are emotions, thoughts, sensations present… you do not need to push them away. Just allow them to move through the wider space of you. You are not trying to fix anything.
You are learning how to stay present while life moves through you.
And in your own time, you can stay in this space as long as you like. There’s no need to rush out of it. And as you move through your day or your week, you may remember this: You can return here. Not as an escape, but as a home point inside yourself. A place where you are not trying to manage everything at once.
Just being with what is.
And when you return to your day, you don’t lose this—you bring it with you in a quieter way. And from that place… life becomes a little simpler.
A little quieter.
A little more navigable.
And you are allowed to move from there.
If this episode supported you in any way, you are warmly invited to subscribe or follow the channel so you can be here with us each week.
And if you feel called, you are also welcome to share this with someone who might need a little more softness or support right now.
It really does matter more than it sometimes seems—how we support each other through these moments.
Thank you for being here. And I look forward to being with you again next week.
